There are plenty of knitted hat patterns out there, but how many could you wear all the time? This Everyday Knit Hat Pattern will give you nice, basic knit hats in any colors you want that you can wear with any outfit. The pom pom at the top gives it just the right amount of flair to stand out from the crowd, but the simple design makes it so that these knitted hats will fit in with any ensemble, as they're not too gaudy or ostentatious.

love the clear colours in which these have been knit. Somehow they are brighter and more cheerful than hats knit in multi-colored wool or striped hats.

I made the medium size hat and cast on the 96 stitches as per the pattern not using this yarn, but a #4 medium weight yarn and the hat turned out too big. I suggest casting on less amount of stitches for the medium size hat.

I love this hat.I have made this one several times.Used different size needles according to yarn.Usually have to adjust needles up or cast on more when I am making one for my husband. He has a big head.Lol.And he likes them a little bigger than I do.

Never mind, i understand now that you place remaining 5 markers when shaping crown.

Knitter598 did you have any problems making the hat.If you have any questions please feel free to ask.I will help in any way I can.I just saw the comment.Sorry

I am making the medium size and there are 96 stitches. There are 6 stitch markers so do i place a stitch marker at every 16th stitch i cast on? Or is there a different way? Thanks )
