Make a Meret, or a neutral-colored beret, for the winter using this free knitting pattern. This ridiculously easy pattern will have you wondering why you never tried to knit a beret before. Berets are especially in right now, with all of the artsiest people wearing them. Make a few to match each one of your favorite outfits and watch your friends turn green with envy over how stylish you've become. Free knit hats just don't get this trendy, so take advantage of this opportunity and knit as many as you can.

Just to mention, if you click the link you are taken to the designer's website which shows all her patterns. You can click on the Meret pattern (shown in orange wool on the website) and read the pattern, also can download it in PDF and print it. I would clarify that her instruction written as sk2po would be more clearly written as sk2togpsso, meaning slip 1, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over.

Hi, ann73gun 1801533. If you click the link that says "Click Here for Knitting Pattern," you will be directed to the pattern designer's website. From there, click the button that says "Download" and a PDF document should begin downloading. You may need to update your Adobe Reader software to view the PDF. Then you should be able to print the PDF document with the pattern. I hope this helps! - Editors of AllFreeKnitting

the hats are great but I cannot print the pattern. Why not?
