I couldn't find the pattern for toddlers hoody.

I would love this sweater pattern in a size 5/6 but hesitate to start improvising on my own.

can anyone alter this design for 3, 4 and 5 years? it would be much appreciated. thanks

For the full pattern, after clicking the above link 'click here for knitting pattern,' one the next screen, click the 'download pattern' button on the lower right side of the screen (it's red) . Hope that's helpful.

I am with the others. I went to download and all that is there are the corrections, not the pattern. I was so looking forward to making this sweater. Oh, well.

After clicking the above link, on the next screen click the red 'download this pattern' button. The full pattern will display. ( :

I found the instructions for the Toddler Raglan Hoodie onwww.tricksyknitter.com I began this sweater, but have 2 questions at the section on Separate Sleeves. I don't understand if I am supposed to start with new yarn to cast on the new stitches for the hoodie....???....or use the existing yarn??? and which needle to I cast the new stitches onto--the right one or left one? Any help here for an inexperienced knitter?? donna

Stitches are ALWAYS cast on to the left needle, unless the pattern states otherwise-you use the existing yarn if it is availble, if it is in a position for you to cast on use it, if not start a new ball or the other end of an existing ball. I know this is late, but hope it helps.

Got it ....Thanks...:)

@jcoffer18 8503: After you click on "click here for knitting pattern," the pattern page should open in a new window. At the very bottom of this page, you will see a button that says "download free pattern" in green and pink lettering. Click that button to download a copy of the pattern. Hope this helps! -- Editor of AllFreeKnitting

I'd like to make this sweater...I really like it, but I can not find the directions for it...not sure what I'm missing. or where to click. "Click here for knitting pattern" does not show me the directions....Help!

I cannot seem to read the chart for the yoke. Is it the first stitch in contrast colour or the last in the first row?

This the BEST raglan sleeved sweater I have ever seen!!! I am a very experienced knitter and love making a few changes to create my own designs in a sweater but you have to have the basic pattern to do this, and THIS pattern is IT!! However, I do need to know just how to make this same sweater in say a size 12 or 16 for bigger kids?! I've made a size 6-months for my newest Great Grandson and it turned out wonderful. His mother just loves it. I also added more stitches and additional inches to make a size 3 for another grandchild but would like very much to make it in bigger sizes. Can anyone help me with pattern alterations? I hope so. This pattern is PERFECT!!

You're welcome. Megan has lots of other free patterns on this site and at Tricksy Knitter. I hope you like them. http://www.allfreeknitting.com/knitting-designers/megan-goodacre-of-tricksy-knitter

Thank you to nButton for site directions. I too was not able to see them and had wanted to make the cute hoodie sweater. Thanks again. http://www.tricksyknitter.com/media/patterns/tricksypattern_44516.pdf

The instructions are at the bottom of the page in a PDF. Here it is http://www.tricksyknitter.com/media/patterns/tricksypattern_44516.pdf

I recently made two of these for my soon-to-be born great-granddaughters, and they are adorable. The directions were good (I found an error, wrote to Megan about it, she responded with a correction immediately and everything else worked out), except that I didn't quite understand how to make the top of the hoodies. So I just made the hoodie flat and seamed it when the sweater was finished. The pattern was exactly what I was hoping to find; knitting raglans from the top down is very easy and makes for a fit that will work for a couple of seasons. I've made them for decades but had lost my every-size pattern. Thanks, Megan, for such a happy find!

I also only get the corrections...Does anyone read these messages?

I also am unable to get the instructions for the Toddler Raglan Hoodie. Does anyopne have them or know how to get them? This is a really nice looking hoodie.

Hi I love your patterns, But when i went to copy out the pattern for toddler Raglan Hoodie all i got was instructions for corrections wheres the pattern ? theres no download free pattern.

AFTER you click the [Click here for knitting pattern] on THIS page, and it takes you to the page with the picture on it AND those corrections you talk about, THEN you scroll to the bottom of THAT page (below the corrections) to find the colorful button that says "Download Free Pattern". It says exactly that...nothing else. Click it & the pattern will come up next. Give it a try...

I have a line that says Click here for pattern. No pattern just corrections

Hi there, If you scroll to the bottom of the page, there is a button that says "Download Free Pattern."

I CANNOT GET THE PATTERN FOR THIS, JUST THE CORRECTIONS - NEED THE WHOLE PATTERN TO MAKE IT. N
