Toddler Kimono Sweater

This Toddler Kimono Sweater is an interesting and easy knitting pattern. This is a unique sweater knitting pattern because it's knitted all in one piece and with bulky yarn, so it knits up quickly and doesn't require much sewing (just a seam down either side). Just choose your favorite bulky weight yarn and you'll be well on your way to making an interesting and cozy toddler sweater. However, a little crochet experience is required for this free knitting pattern because the sweater ties are crocheted. But they could potentially be replaced with ribbon, if crochet isn't your thing.

I think wool ease is a bad choice for children, so i will substitute the yarn.

This is such a cute sweater! The pattern is very easy to follow, which is really nice. I am always looking for simple patterns that will be cute and easy to make. Knitting can be tedious sometimes, but patterns like this make me want to knit more! There are so many different options for this sweater, you could make one in any color you choose, based on who you are making it for.

is the cast on sts number correct ? it does not seem to match the gauge also on the front page the gauge is 12-14 sts =4 inches and pattern says 2 sts to the inch. I am dying to make this. help please. thank you

Never depend on the notations made on this website, always use the information found on the pattern page, it is frequently wrong on this website, as demonstrated by the fact that they also notate it being #5 bulky yarn, when the yarn required to complete the project is #6 super bulky yarn. The pattern actually states 3 stitches to the inch and that is the correct gauge.

Not only simple and quick-ish to knit, but a sweater that is easy to get on and off of a little person. While I love the look of a classic pullover, there are times when it is just too difficult to struggle when trying to get a toddler or baby into it. For those times, this would be ideal
