Thankfully knitting hats for children doesn't have to be as difficult as getting them to keep their hats on! This easy Rock Candy Hat is not only full of wonderful colors, but the built-in tie will secure it tightly to your little one's head - and keep it there. Made for babies aged 3 to 6 months, this hat pattern also looks great in solid colors. This adorable knit baby hat makes a great way to get rid of a few colors of excess yarn, organize that yarn bin while keeping a little one nice and warm!

Knitting Needle Size8 or 5 mm, Circular Knitting Needles, Double-Pointed Knitting Needles (DPNs)

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
