These hats are knit in stockinette stitch with large needles, making them extremely quick knits. If you're new to knitting, this pattern is a perfect way to learn how to make a hat. This is a great, basic, foundation pattern. Once you have this done, you can dress them up in so many ways. Add flowers for little girls, or a pre made patch. You could make it in red and embroider faces to look like Elmo! Or one of the Minions! Let your imagination run wild!

Super easy baby hat in all sizes, in one pattern....what can be better than that. I love to knit and crochet. I have to say when I am making baby hats I prefer to knit. I think they fit those tiny heads much better and stay on. Make sure you extra's to donate. I love to make hats up and donate them to schools where the weather gets really cold. I purchased gloves when they go on clearance. Then I have special little sets to give with love.

These baby hats are just perfect. They are quick to knit up and the pattern is easy to follow. I like the different edges on them as well. Hats are welcome everywhere but especially here in NYC with the changes in temperatures and winds. A lot of my son's friends are expecting so I have some work to do. It should be fun. Thank you.

I really like this quick and easy knit baby hat pattern! I knit for charity and this one will be fast to make. I plan to try out this pattern soon. I really like making increases with the KFB (knit in front and back of stitch) stitch and I like that this pattern uses that stitch.

I simply love this pattern - it's simple and to the point. I think I have made about 50 of these sweet little hats at this point and everyone has loved them.

I absolutely love this pattern so easy to make (especially for a beginner like me!) I love the variations on the hats, they are the perfect homemade baby shower gifts!

What as perfect hat base - ways looking for a basic hat pattern that I can add my own style to - like a pretty crochet flower or two or some decorative buttons. This hat is a blank canvas for creativity. Perfect!

Love this pattern I have made loads of these hats for my baby Granddaughter.

Another classic hat pattern for tiny baby beanies. This pattern is knit flat instead of int he round so its a good place to begin for people who aren't ready to start knitting with double pointed needles or the magic loop method.
