Sacha Ballet Slippers

Knitted slippers are one of my favorite projects to complete. Not only do these Sacha Ballet Slippers make an excellent gift, but they'll help your feet stay nice and warm during the cold winter - especially if your house has wooden floors. Knit these slippers in a variety of colors - either way, you'll love how feminine and cozy they are!

The slippers shown above were made with Berroco Suede yarn. Just to note, it is not bulky/chunky weight 5 as listed above. It is actually medium or worsted weight 4. It is a novelty yarn made of nylon that feels like suede and comes in many different colors, most self patterning with color variations.

Hello 3cats2love, we have updated the pattern to reflect the correct yarn weight. Our apologies for the error! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

Question I am a fairly new knitter and don't know what M1K means. Also is this a hard pattern for a new knitter. My granddaughter is a ballerina and she would love these slippers so I would like to make these. She wears a size 9 shoe. A big ballerina but a beautiful one. Thanks, Carrole

It is an intermediate pattern. But you can find videos for most any stitches you need. If you goggle any term, like M1K this means make one stitch knit wise. You tube has lot's of tutorials. Good Luck
