Tried many sock patterns, but this one is so easy to do with helpful photos. I have done from first size baby socks up to size 10 UK for men. If you are on Facebook she has a page there Winwick Mum Sockalong and many people to help there you if you get stuck.

This is an excellent simple and straightforward pattern for a beginner sock knitter. The designer has provided step by step online videos to help with the construction, starting at the cuff down through the heel flap and to the toe. With all the great sock yarn available you will end up with a great looking pair of socks.

I love to knit socks but I get tired of the patterns that I use most, so this is a great find for me! Self striping yarn is incredible as a sock yarn. I have used it several times, but never in a sock as simple to knit as this one. If you're just starting in socks, try this pattern.

Since I've decided to knit everyone in my family a pair of wonderful knit socks for Christmas 2016, this pattern is a great place to get started. Plus I can buy special sock yarns to add to my ever growing stash. This is a nice basic pattern that will get me back in the habit of sock knitting and it should be a good place to start.
