Easy Garter Stitch Cowl

If you're just beginning knitting and you want to knit a cowl, there's no need to learn how to knit in the round! This Easy Garter Stitch Cowl is worked on straight needles, and is incredibly simple. Knitting Needle Size8 or 5 mm
Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)
Gauge20 sts and 30 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stitch.
Finished SizeApprox 18" [45.5 cm] tall x 40" [101.5 cm] around.
Materials List
- Bernat® Pop!™ (5 oz/140 g; 280 yds/256 m): Radical Botanical (84015) - 2 balls
- Size U.S. 8 (5 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
Instructions
Cast on 90 stitches (sts).
Work in garter stitch (st) (knit every row) until work from beginning (beg) measures approximately (approx) 40" [102 cm].
Cast off.
Sew side edges together (tog).

I can never have enough cowls. I usually make one for most of my outfits. They keep you warm and add something nice to the outfit. This will work up quickly. It is a simple pattern I can do while watching television. Thank you.
