Sew right shoulder seam.
Neckband: With RS facing and smaller needles, pick up and knit 31 (31-31-34-34-34) sts down left front neck edge. K40 (42-44-47-47-48) from Front st holder. Pick up and knit 31 (31-31-34-34-34) sts up right front neck edge and 8 sts down right back neck edge. K48 (50-52-53-55-56) from Back st holder, dec 3 sts evenly across. Pick up and knit 8 sts up left back neck edge. 163 (163-171-181-183-185) sts. Knit 2 rows. Cast off knitwise (WS).
Sew left shoulder and neckband seam.
Armbands: With RS facing and smaller needles, pick up and knit 90 (96-96-102-108-108) sts evenly along armhole edge. Knit 2 rows. Cast off knitwise (WS).
Sew side seams.

I'm knitting a medium and am up to the neck. Pattern says k28, turn, leave rem sts on holder. Dec 1st on next 6 rows. That would be on a purl row, do I Dec on the purl rows only?

Dec 1st on next 6 rows, means you will decrease each row for 6 rows at the neck edge only, it's each row for 6 rows, so it will be on both knit and purl rows for the next 6 rows. Hope this helps someone, Happy knitting!

The pattern says to work 2nd row of lace panel pat 1, giving instructions for 8 repeats, but that row is just a purl. What am I missing?

I am trying to knit this beautiful Summer Breeze Tank in a size Med. but the number of stitches and repeats don't add up. I've tried several calculations but still no luck. What am I doing wrong?

I have cast on 124 stiches and knitted 5 rows of garter stitch. Then changed to larger needles. Then row 1 K11 (that leaves 113 stitches) and worked 1st row of Lace panel Pat 1 8 times. There are not enough stitches left to do that since there are 15 stitches for each pattern and 8 times that is 120 stitches. (plus the pattern calls for knitting another 11 stitches at the end of the row.)

I took a look at the pattern and I think I see the problem! For a size medium, you only knit 2 stitches on each side of the Lace pattern. So, 15 (lace pattern stitches) x 8 repeats = 120 stitches. Add 4 border stitches (2 for each side) and you get 124 stitches. Editors of AllFreeKnitting

The pattern looks like arrows and arrowheads to me, so I'd call it the Arrow Tank

I would name this pattern INDIAN SUMMER, because of the lovely arrowheads, bright sunny color, and lightweight yarn and design.
