Pronto Jacket

Quick, portable and effortlessly chic - these are just a few words that can be used to describe the Pronto Jacket. Designed as an homage to Italian fashion, this is one of those jacket knitting patterns that you cannot pass up. Complete this two-tone, seamless cardi in just a weekend. Our favorite part about this jacket is that it can be worn two different ways!

Easy

Knitting Needle Size10.5 or 6.5 mm

Thank you for such prompt attention!

Love the edgy style. I even have some yarn in my stash to make this BUT I'm unable to download this pattern. I just get a blank page. Has anyone been able to get the pattern?

Hi bnzee 6928376, The link has been corrected. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

Why bother to post if you don't care for it? Just don't make it yourself. I happen to think its super cute and am happy to find something than the usual old lady sweater on this usually boring site.

It looks unfinished to me and I wouldn't waste yarn to make it. I don't want to hurting anyone's feeling but this looks like crap. I guess I don't under stand where the creator was going with it. Sorry.

Why would you rate a project 4 stars if you dislike it so much?

Looks like a rag or parts of different sweaters put together. And it looks too tight around the bust. Not attractive at all

Very unique (I like) However, what yarn could you sub ......It's done on 10.5 needle so wouldn't worsted weight work???????????Edna Although I haven't yet made it giving it 4 stars....As I said "UNIQUE"!!!!!!!!

not necessarily-check the guage-admittedly there are some worsted's that would work, however the needle size and gauge clearly indicate that a bulky yarn is what is needed here. I do have some very heavy worsted yarns here in my stash that I know can be knit to this gauge-to avoid disappointment, double check your gauge.

This is GREAT! Seriously off the grid of "normal" which makes it so very appealing to me. Seriously folks get out of your boxes! This is wearable art

This is GREAT Italian style!! Not your usual stodgy old-person cardigan at all. I especially love it in the photo showing it open instead of buttoned. I plan to do it in two different yarns that will be stunning. I'm neither a "skater chick" whatever that is, or a "punk wannabe". I'm 77 years old and do like very contemporary styles, so maybe that makes me have a "steampunk aesthetic"??????

I'm with you. Like the style.

Ghastly. A serious waste of beautiful yarn. I can pass it up.

Seriously? This looks like it started with a couple of major mistakes, as in "I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm forging ahead no matter what. And I say it's a jacket." OOPS.

I can see someone (skater chick, punk wannabe, MAYBE even someone with the steampunk aesthetic) finding this cute. It's not for me; I like wearable clothes. But to each his/her own.
