  • Size U.S. 35 (19 mm) circular knitting needle 29" [73.5 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge.

Measurements:

Approx 40 x 62" [101.5 x 157.5 cm].

Gauge:

5 sts and 7 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking st.

Cont = Continue(ity)
K = Knit
K2tog = Knit next 2 stitches together
M1 = Make 1 stitch by picking up horizontal loop lying before next stitch and knitting into back of loop

Instructions:

Stripe Pat
With A: 4 rows.
With B: 6 rows.

With D: 6 rows.

With A: 4 rows.
These 32 rows form Stripe Pat.

With A, cast on 54 sts. Do not join. Working back and forth across needle in rows, proceed as follows:
Knit 3 rows (garter st), noting 1st row is WS.

Beg Stripe Pat, proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). K3. *(ssk) twice. (K1. M1) 4 times. (K2tog) twice. Rep from * to last 3 sts. K3.
2nd row: K3. Purl to last 3 sts. K3.
3rd row: Knit.
4th row: K3. Purl to last 3 sts. K3.
