Woodland Ruana Wrap

This free ruana knitting pattern is simple, stunning, and makes a fabulous gift!

Woodland Ruana Wrap Pattern

The Woodland Ruana Wrap is the perfect fall knitting pattern, because it can be worn in a variety of different ways. A ruana is similar to a shawl, but shaped like a poncho with an opening up the front. This knit shawl is a must-knit due to its interesting design and beautiful colors. The yarn is a fusion of lovely shadings in a bulky weight that makes it quick to knit. This ruana will keep you warm and cozy in an incredibly stylish way. Plus, it's the perfect gift that needs no exact fit and complements any figure type. Whether you work this up for yourself or for a loved one, a knit ruana is a striking piece you can be proud of.

Notes1. Wrap is knit side to side in one piece.
2. First side is worked then stitches are bound-off to create front opening and cast-on again to begin second side.
