Instructions
Scarf
Cast on 36 sts.
Rows 1-2: Knit.
Row 3: K6, *yo 2 times, k1, yo 3 times, k1, yo 4 times, k1, yo 3 times, k1, yo 2 times, k6; repeat from * across.
Row 4: Knit across Row, dropping off needle all yarn overs (yo)
Rows 5-6: Knit.
Row 7: K1, *yo 2 times, k1, yo 3 times, k1, yo 4 times, k1, yo 3 times, k1, yo 2 times, k6; repeat from * to last 5 sts, yo 2 times, k1, yo 3 times, k1, yo 4 times, k1, yo 3 times, k1, yo 2 times, k1.
Row 8: Knit across Row, dropping off needle all yarn overs (yo).
Rows 9-10: Knit.
Repeat Rows 3-10 until piece measures 68” [173 cm] from cast on edge. Work Rows 1-2 once, bind off all sts on last Row.
Finishing
With yarn needle, weave in all ends.
Fringe
Cut 76 - 8” [20 cm] long pieces of yarn. Fold yarn in half, with crochet hook attach fringe to cast on edge of scarf - 1 fringe per stitch, 38 fringe on each end of scarf.
Attach fringe in same manner on opposite end, bound off edge of scarf. Trim fringe evenly.
