    • Contrast A Pale Grey Mix (10046) 1 ball
    • Contrast B Burgundy (10430) 1 ball
  • Size U.S. 7 (4.5 mm) knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Stitch marker

 

MEASUREMENTS
Approx 11" [28 cm] deep x 62" [157.5 cm] long.


GAUGE
19 sts and 36 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter st.

 

INSTRUCTIONS
With B, cast on 2 sts.
1st row: (RS). Kfb. K1.
2nd row: K2. Kfb.
3rd row: Kfb. K2tog. K1.
4th and alt rows: Knit to last st. Kfb.
5th row: Kfb. K2tog. K2.
7th row: Kfb. K2tog. K3.
9th row: Kfb. K2tog. K4.
11th row: Kfb. Knit to last 6 sts. PM. K2tog. K4.
Note: From this point on, keep marker in position before last 6 sts.
12th row: With A, as 4th row.
13th row: Kfb. Knit to last 6 sts. Slip marker. K2tog. K4.
14th to 17th rows: With B, as 12th and 13th rows twice more.
18th to 23rd rows: With A, as 12th and 13th rows 3 times more.
Rep 14th to 23rd rows 7 times more.
Next 2 rows: With B, as 12th and 13th rows.
Next 2 rows: With A, as 12th and 13th rows.
Rep last 4 rows 20 times more.
Rep 14th to 23rd rows until work across longer side edge measures approx 62" [157.5 cm] or until 2 balls have been used, ending with 5 rows of A.
Cast off.
