Ch 8, work 1 sc into the 5th stitch of the BO edge. Rep three times to reach the end of the BO row, forming 4 scallops.

Turn and work 8 sc into each of the scallops and 1 sc into each sc of the previous row. When you reach the end, work 1 sc into last st, break yarn, and weave in all ends.

Rep this along the CO edge of the scarf. Block.
