Instructions
Cast on 26 stitches (sts).
Knit every row (garter st), noting first row is Wrong Side (WS), until Hat measures 8" [20.5 cm], ending on a WS row.
Shape top: Next row: [Right Side (RS)]. Knit 2 (K2). *Knit next 2 sts together (K2tog). K2. Repeat (Rep) from * to end of row. 20 sts.
Next 3 rows: Knit.
Next row: K2. *K2tog. K1. Rep from * to end of row. 14 sts.
Next row: Knit.
Next row: *K2tog. Rep from * to end of row. 7 sts.
Break yarn leaving a 24" [61 cm] end. Thread end through remaining sts and fasten securely.
Sew center back seam. Attach Pompom to top of Hat.
