Rainy Day Washcloth

If it's pouring outside, why not take up some needles and yarn and make this lovely Rainy Day Washcloth. If you know how to knit a dishcloth, you'll have no trouble crafting this simple washcloth. With a bumpy texture, this easy washcloth is great for use in the kitchen and is composed entirely of knit and purl stitches.

Knitting Needle Size8 or 5 mm

Yarn Weight(4) Medium Weight/Worsted Weight and Aran (16-20 stitches to 4 inches)

Materials:

Instructions:                                                  

CO 30 sts.

Knit 1 row then:
R1    P1, K4 across the row
R2    P3, K2  across the row
R3    P3, K2, across the row
R4    P1, K4  across the row

Repeat this 4 row pattern 1 more time  then:

R1     K1, P4  across the row
R2     K3, P2  across the row
R3     K3, P2  across the row
R4     K1, P4  across the row

Repeat this 4 row pattern 1 more time

Continue this pattern sequence until cloth is 9 inches long

Knit 1 more row and BO
