How to Knit the Anemone Bobble Stitch

By: Rebecca Roush from chemknits.com

Don't be intimidated by bobbles! They're not as difficult to make as they seem - it just takes some concentration.  Plus, once theyr'e made, they add great texture to whatever garment you work them into. In this free knitting tutorial you'll learn how to knit the anemone bobble, which will create tiny, donut-shaped circles in your work. You'll love the results when you incorporate this stitch into afghans and scarves!

Did a bit of sleuthing and found this: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/anemone-coat-check-scarf - For $2.50 you can get wonderful pattern that she was knitting in the tutorial. it looks like it is easy and fun. Thanks for sharing the video.

The word is pronounced a-neM-o-Ne, not a-neN-o-Me. It is a cute stitch, though - much more interesting than normal bobbles.

This is a cute pattern, reminds me of Cheerios all lined up, but lots prettier. Now I have to try it on something.

I would also like the pattern for this round bag. Looks like fun!

Can you give instructions on doing this in the flat or straight knitting?

How would you knit this bobble stitch using only two needles?

Dear Rebecca, Just viewed your video of anemone bobble stitch. I want to knit in the round using this stitch. What were you making and where can I get the instructions? Thank you :) , Sandy :)
