Cat Hoodie

(11 Votes)

Make your feline friend a hoodie to wear. Cats get cold too, so use this free knitting pattern to keep them warm. This is great for prancing in the snow outside (if you're brave to let your cat out of the house!)

My cat would have a fit if I tried to put her in this. But I might try anyway... It's so cute!

Oh, my, the pattern designer said she made this for her cat Molly. I have a Mollie cat, too! It was meant to be - if my cat went outdoors. However, I take care of a a couple of friendly community cats who I know would just LOVE to have the extra warmth during the winter. I have to get to work on this. It's adorable.

A cutie in grand style. Wearing it as well omg.

My goodness, the cuteness is too much to handle.

SOOOO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

Where can I find the flat pattern for the Cat Hoodie? I tried the green button on the site that says flat--but it just goes to another site and the pattern isn't there. Help!

where do I find the pattern? when I click on "click here for knitting pattern" it says page not found! My daughter breed sphynx and bambino kittens and could really use these!!

Thanks for letting us know about the broken link. We have updated the pattern so you should be able to view it. We apologize for any inconvenience! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

@Hate2cook, I'm sorry to hear of your trouble. I have two options for you: 1. You can contact the pattern designer directly for help. The designer is specified in the byline. 2. I might also suggest that you try posting your question to our sites Facebook page. It is monitored by the editor and is a great resource for helpful tips and suggestions from our Facebook friends; perhaps they can offer some guidance! Here is the link: --editors of AllFreeKnitting

Hi, I love the cat hoodie, but I'm stumped. I understand everything untill the neck part: Knit to end of front stitches; turn, cast on 8 using cable cast on, turn; k back stitches; turn, CO8 using cable cast on, turn; join in the round, k5. Turn, pm, purl 1 round to marker. Row 1: Turn, k1, ssk, k to 3 sts before marker, k2tog, k1. Row 2: Turn, purl to marker. Repeat Rows 1 & 2 six times total -- 12 sts decreased (42 sts remaining I don't understand how to join in the round after the 8cast ons. Also what does pm and ssk mean? Thanks for any help. I'd really like to make this for my cat.

@hate2cook, Did you ever make this hoodie for your cat? The "pm" means place marker. "ssk" means slip, slip, knit. I love to knit but have not made anything for my kitty.
