Cozy Whisper/Cotton Chenille Slippers

These slippers belong to Cookie Monster! They are blue, soft, and fuzzy just like this lovable monster. Make two pair with this knitting pattern because he will most certainly steal one from you!

I've tried the dimensional paint and it does work - however it was on fabric not yarn. Hope this helps

I love the slippers, however if there is something you could reccomend to make them safe to wear on hardwood floors it would be helpful...I had a bad fall wearing this kind of slipper so speak from experience. Thank you.

I heard making designs on the bottoms with dimensional paint works great.

@jeanbob4 8140852, Here is a link to some slipper grippers on our sister site CutRateCrafts: Hope this helps!

Krylon paint has a clear nonskid or nonslip spray, my WalMart carries it. Use on bottom of slippers or rugs. Or you couple adhere small pieces of rubber cut from bath tub mats or such. Hope this helps. Happy knitting.

clear glue on the bottom left to dry hard always works too, that's what I do for my grandsons because some of them are just walking.
