Are you new to knitting, but want so badly to knit a comfy, cozy blanket to keep you snuggly warm? The Easy Corner to Corner Chunky Knit Blanket is what you are looking for! This is the perfect knit blanket pattern for beginners because the base pattern is a super simple garter stitch, but it can be made more complex to fit your own knitting ability. Plus, the chunky yarn makes this knit up fast. Once you finish this blanket, you will feel amazingly accomplished, and you’ll be cozy warm on chilly nights.

I am OBSESSED with the stripes on this blanket! I've never knit corner to corner before, so this will be a fun new challenge.

I love that this pattern is corner to corner because it means less stress over running out of yarn. With the last blanket I knit, I had to run out and get more yarn before I could finish the pattern-- how annoying! My next blanket is for my brother and sister-in-law, and I think I'm going to switch to this pattern!

This is such a cute blanket! The pattern is simple but I love the texture added by the garter stitch sections. Bernat Softee Chunky was used by the blogger but since I don't have that on hand I would use 2 or three strands of baby yarn held together to get the same kind of thickness.
