Ribbed Toddler Socks

"I think there's something so luxurious about a pair of hand knit socks! Socks are such an inexpensive, disposable item nowadays. Knitting a pair out of soft, natural fiber yarn just seems special. Indigo got his pair first (of course!) but I can't want to make a women's version of this sock knitting pattern! These toddler socks have a long, ribbed cuff which ensures they stay on. The cuffs are kind of time consuming to knit, but after that the rest of the sock moves along pretty quickly."

Easy

Knitting Needle Size1 or 2.25 mm

The pattern itself does not state yarn or needle size used but the above 2.25mm and super fine yarn are correct as I found the answer from the author stating these in the comments at the bottom. The pattern is easy to follow and so this is a really good pattern to use if you have never knitted socks before and are looking for a starter pattern. I have a set of bamboo needles but found it very fiddly to knit with this yarn on them and they split when I was part way through the first sock so I switched and purchased some carbon needles and found them much easier as the atitches glide across the needles.
