Aquamarine Autopilot Socks

This beautiful, simple knit sock pattern features almost every shade of blue, so it's a great way to get rid of excess teal, green, and royal blue yarns you have lying around. Although the instructions call for worsted weight yarn, the Aquamarine Autopilot Socks are based on an algebraic pattern that adjusts for the weight you use, so there's no need to second guess on stitches. The Aquamarine Autopilot Socks are a simple, mindless knit sock pattern that are both comfortable and warm. Knit a pair today and enjoy them for years to come.

Love that you can calculate the size, with any yarn and/or needle you like. I've been wanting to try knitting my own socks, and this looks like a great pattern to try first.

Christmas gifts this year are a pair of hand knit socks for all of my family. This pattern is great and I love the idea of knitting on autopilot. The designer's clever algorithm for using various weights of yarn will help me use up some of my stash too. I have a couple of cones of white wool in my hoard..maybe tie dye in my future.
