Dummy Clap Shawl

(3 Votes)

Everyone loves free lace shawl knitting patterns, especially simple ones. This Dummy Clap Shawl is not only elegant and lacy, but it's also pretty easy!  With just the stockinette stitch and a few dropped stitches, you'll have a classic design that's great for both casual and fancy affairs.  Straight or circular knitting needles can be used for this knit shawl pattern so you can knit it up in whatever way you are the most comfortable with. Of course, the best part about this shawl is how amazing it will look on you.

I am on the knit paradise chat board and it has come to the attention of many that in your pattern it say to instead of yo and if to is an abbreviation you need to put it in the pattern or correct it beginners can get put off of knitting by simple things like this which is sad because while this appears to be all critique and no compliment it's a lovely shawl!

it's fantastic, yet easy! I love this, and I'm doing it.

Pretty! And so simple too.

Made this for my friend, she loved it. Want to make one for me now, just not quite as long. Sooo easy to do.

I would like to make this scarf

I think is is a great looking design and it is going on my "to-do" list for projects this summer! I will re-post when I finish it.
