Completing row one gives 11 stitches completing three makes 15 stitches ten more rows adds another 40 stitches, a total of 55 stitches -- can't forget the first time we knit rows 3 and 4.

I'm somewhat confused by the directions for the Painted Desert Lace Shawl. How do you make it to "desired length" with out increasing? Also repeating rows 34 10 times does not total 55 stitches. Increasing 4 sts in row 1 10 times equals 44, not 55. Plus the 11 sts from row 2 are rolling the bottom. Am I missing something?
