This 8 Hour Lace Shawl is a great knitting pattern that you can whip up in one weekend. This makes a great last-minute gift around the holidays or a prayer shawl for someone in need, and it will definitely get some use.

Plus, this knit shawl pattern is actually really easy to recreate, and it a good shawl to start off on if you haven't made very many shawls before. Because this particular lace stitch is a two-row lace stitch, it's also a very relaxing pattern. After a few repeats, you'll practically be able to knit this shawl in your sleep. Lace knitting doesn't have to be difficult!

I have lots of regular yarn. How many stitches and size needle would I need to make this prayer shawl?

I love the royal blue color and the airiness of this 8 Hour Lace Shawl. I just wished I could see the shawl clearly. This would have been appreciated if taken in a better angle.

Hi Zeemer, if you view the corresponding video for this pattern, you will be able to see multiple angles of the shawl. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting
