I am so happy with the way this scarf turned out! It's so fluffy and warm - perfect for chilly weather!

I really like this scarf - lovely in its simplicity, decidedly versatile and with room for change -- make it longer to suit the wearer, change the colour -- simplicity means class

Thank you!!! That was my thought exactly! Make it wider or skinnier or shorter or longer. I think it's the perfect first project for a learner, but it still works even when we have years of skill. There's something so relaxing about garter stitch.

This is a great basic scarf pattern for all knitters. As the intro says it's versatile because of its simplicity. You can also adjust the length so that it's perfect for you because it's such a simple pattern.
