The Lovely Leaf Lace Scarf is the free knit scarf pattern that is so pretty it will blow every other stitch in the book out of the water. The pattern uses a lace pattern for the lower tails of the scarf and a basic stockinette stitch that'll feel smooth and good against your neck. It isn't the easiest pattern in the world, but it is not impossible either. One just needs to have their yarn-overs and decreases down before attempting to combine the techniques to achieve this stitch. In the end, you'll have a super bulky scarf with a pattern reminiscent of deliacate lace.

The picture looks nice, but in reality the scarf has no drape and it's stiff and as it turns out just put through the washer and dryer once was enough to completely felt it.

Wow, this is gorgeous. Not an easy pattern, but beautiful results. I love the silvery grey, and it would be pretty in cream or pale blue, too.
