"I love the look of giant knitting – the chunky blankets seem so cozy! But the yarn and kits can get expensive really fast, so I decided to try something on a smaller (more affordable) scale. Enter: giant knitted pillow."

I like knitting patterns that can be written in one paragraph! ) This is defnitely something to keep in mind for one of those afternoons when I "need" to do something but don't want to commit to a bigger project. The cool thing is that it can easily be made any size to fit over a pillow one already has.

Simple to knit - basic knitting - and a big cushion where you need it - with colour options and if one wants a bigger pillow just make it longer or wider. Moi-mme, I find myself thinking of making it into a cosy bed for one of the dogs. Taking the pressure off elbows and giving them a comfortable spot to curl up
