If you've been hunting for a cushion cover pattern, you have to check out these Adorable Super Chunky Pillows. This free knitting pattern uses super bulky yarn, so these round pillows come out looking fluffy and dreamy. The thick yarn gives these knitted cushions an adorably homey feeling. They'd be right at home in soft, rustic decor. They'd also work well as a gentler touch to modern decor. This knitted pillow cover pattern use the short rows technique, so it's a good way to learn a new skill for beginning knitters. Yet it's still a fun, easy knitting pattern.

These pillows are so cute! Store-bought knit pillows are SO expensive, so this might be a more affordable alternative.

This pillow looks relatively easy to make. Has anyone made this? I am wondering if the yarn I have would work for this. I used it to make a hand knit blanket for my sister. It is really thick so I am thinking it will work, but I do not know what size it is, just that it is really thick. I suppose I will just have to give it a try!

These look like they would be as soft as clouds! And such a trendy design. These are going on the list!

I love these as well. They look quick and wonderfully squishy. I might try them holding two or three strands of worsted weight yarn together to use up some of my larger balls of scraps. Can't wait to get started!

I just got some t-shirt yarn, and I'll be moving in with my boyfriend in a few months so... better start knitting!

I just love these chunky pillows, myself and my partner recently bought our first house together and I think these would look great in the spare room for guests, I think they would give the room a more homely feel! I think I might sound a bit silly with my next question but what is "t-shirt yarn"? I'm afraid I've never heard this before sorry if it's something I should know!

I love that I found this pattern! These "pouf" pillows are so on trend and I can't wait to make some for myself. I love the other commenter's idea of using upcycled tshirt yarn! That would make this project so affordable. I've also seen them done in a light weight rope at the home store and would love to give that a go using this pattern. I am going to get a ton of use out of this one! They would make fantastic housewarming gifts as well.

I think instead of bulky yarn you could use recycled T-shirt yarn, or "yarn" made from other fabric. I made a similar pillow using strips of velour "yarn" and it came out soft and fluffy. There are lots of tutorials online that show you how to make strips of fabric and join them together to make a ball of yarn that you can use for knitting.

OMG I desperately want a couple of these pillows. They are so cute and look so cozy!

These are so cute! They would be a great housewarming gift idea!
