Ocean Breeze Cable Knit Socks

By: Tanis Lavalle from Tanis Fiber Arts

We love a good looking pair of socks, and the Ocean Breeze Cable Knit Socks definitely fit the bill. This knit sock pattern features the cable knit stitch, making them a little more polished than your average sock. These would be great to wear to work or any occasion that calls for dressier toes. The deep blue yarn used in this pattern reminds us of the ocean, and it is a versatile color to coordinate with many outfits.

For a tie up sock, would the cable pattern work if I read left to right starting from the top row?

Maybe, since you can work down instead of up, but you may find reversing the cables can mess up other features of the pattern such as shaping. The only way to know is to try it and find out.
