"This free pattern for a chunky wool blanket is a quick easy knit! It is knit with soft wooly merino wool and large circular knitting needles. Free downloadable pattern on DESIGN THE LIFE YOU WANT TO LIVE by Lynne Knowlton. The beautifully warm blanket is made with two basic stitches (the seed stitch and stockinette stitch) and finished with big fluffy tassels! Happy knitting!"

Wow, this is a super fluffy and cozy-looking blanket! The pattern calls for chunky/bulky yarn, but the designer says that if you have lighter weight yarn you can use two strands, or even three strands, held together. That's probably what I would do, and use this as a stash buster project.
