Use this knit dishcloth pattern from the Purl Bee to practice this popular, and visually striking, style of knitting. This is so cute. I could really see myself making this pattern soon!

This is a fun and different way to make a wash cloth. You can have fun picking out your color combinations. On the blog page the designer also uses self-striping yarn for the middle rounds and that looks great too. I think you could also do holiday color combinations and make them seasonal looking.

That's a great idea! I started a log cabin throw one time, long ago, but it got to be too much and I never finished it. Working with small squares like this should be a lot easier and we can make something useful whether we stop at washcloths or sew them together for something bigger.

LOVE these! Picking our color combinations is great fun. You can get creative with some of the stitch patterns as well. I did a moss stitch in the middle then surrounded with garter squares.

Nice and very well explained although it is a 14 page print out. I am going to use it to make squares for a blanket.
