A simple and useful pattern. These will not take very long to knit and when completed you will have practical items that can be used daily in your kitchen. You can select yarns that will compliment your kitchen color scheme as well.

I make most of my dishcloths now. They just look more attractive and last longer. I am always knitting and this pattern will work up really quickly. It does not take a lot of yarn and will last. Thank you.

This knit and purl dishcloth pattern is great for beginners. Not only will you get the opportunity to practice both of these basic knit stitches you will wind up with a practical everyday object. I like to have this type of item to gift at house warming events.

This is a really easy pattern to follow and is a great way for beginners to not only learn a new stitch but to make someone usefu, with it too. The have been many times that I have knitted small squares to learn new skills and then just done nothing with them. These would be great bundled up it a gift pack with some gardeners soap or similar as it would make a fab little present. They are quick to make so you can make them in an evening.

This is my all time favorite dish cloth pattern. I have made it so many times, and I never get tired of making up this pattern. And the dishcloths themselves are great to use and last well. I have some that have lasted for years. Give this pattern a try, you'll love it too.

This is my favorite dishcloth pattern! The texture makes for a great scrubbie and the pattern is easy to memorize. I can whip one out a night while I watch TV.

This is my favorite washcloth pattern. They make a great gift along with some special soaps or bath scrub. I like the match the color with the color or scent of the soaps or scrub. For example, I'll knit the wash cloth in lavender and include lavender soap or choose apricot as the color of yarn and include an apricot scrub.

A fab pattern, easy to follow instructions and the look is very different to standard stocking stitched dishcloths. This is a great way of measuring and checking gauge if using the stitch for a different pattern, you can knit one, check your gauge and then you still have a little gift rather than a wasted scrap of knitting.

delightful idea - and so many uses for a dishcloth! washcloth, duster, great to keep with the watering can to soak up drips and drops when watering plants, oh and good as dishcloths too
