Granddaughters Easy Knit Cowl Pattern

This Granddaughter Easy Knit Cowl is perfect for your granddaughter, but your grandson will love it, too. The plain gray is perfect with any outfit, and toned-down enough to fit in with most male fashion. The versatility of the final product is the charm of quick knitting projects, making this cowl the ideal option for any cold day and any occasion. The instructions couldn't be simpler, but the ribbed finish looks completely designer. Try making it in black for two everyday cowl options.

This looks cute and like it would work up fairly fast. I've been seeing these everywhere on the college campus I work on they're definitely on trend right now and in a vibrant color I think this cowl would definitely be a great way to brighten up a black winter pea coat.

k1b means to k1 below. Look it up on youtube...... you will have a video to show you how as it is a knitting technique.

I don't understand what you mean by "below"

I was confused by this when I started seeing it a few years ago, so I hunted it down on a knitting websiStep 1 Insert your working needle into the stitch directly below the first stitch on your main needle, knit wise. Step 2 Wrap your working needle with the working yarn and knit the stitch as normal, pulling the yarn through the stitch. Step 3 Pull the worked stitch and the stitch above off the needle together.te- there are also some youtube videos so you can see how its done. Hope this helps, Happy knitting.
