This is an interesting pattern. I was wondering why you use the size 35 needles, but really it just makes the cowl weave open and stretchy. It's easy to adapt this pattern to shorter or longer, whatever you'd like. If I made it Id probably choose either a brighter color or a neutral one.

This cowl pattern certainly is easy and quick to knit with bulky yarn and big needles. One thing that beginners may find cumbersome at first is the size of the needles, getting them to move as they want. But keep at it, you'll get the hang of it.

Flicitations to the designer! This pattern for beginners is a satisfying one for them. Not only is it quick to knit up, but it looks much more difficult than a basic pattern, giving the first-time knitter reason to feel proud of accomplishment
