"I haven't made it because I cast on and by row 3 the pattern is over because there are not enough stitches to complete that row based on the instructions given, you need to have 8 stitches at that point and there are only 6 stitches. The pattern has to increase, but for every increase there is a decrease, therefore you can never have more than 6 stitches on the needle. I'm going to amend the pattern, since I like the look of the two colours and just do a yo increase until my desire length, then do the decrease for the second half to finish it."

"This pattern is about 15 years old, so it only stands to reason that some colours or yarns may have been discontinued in that time. Typically in knitting pattern acronyms are not included unless it is a new stitch or relatively new stitch pattern, some beginner patterns do include an explanation of the acronyms, but this is not a beginner pattern it is an easy pattern, so it would be uncommon for them to be included."
