Hand knit baby booties or really anything that you take the time to hand make for someone is a thoughtful gift. The most difficult thing that I find with making baby booties is trying to get both of them to look alike and turn out the same size. This pattern is super easy and both booties are made the same way until you sew them together.

I think these will be perfect for me to try. I stopped knitting years ago and have just gotten back into it. I need patterns like this to get the hang of it again. Although these are plain, I can embellish them in many ways. Infact, I have been crocheting so I have a bunch of small flowers and bows to add. Thank you for sharing this.
