"This is the 8th or 9th dead link I've hit this morning trying to look at the patterns from one newsletter, i can only presume that the person putting the newsletter together does not have time to check and verify the links."
"New pattern, first time I've seen a picture of it on this site. Unfortunately, there is a problem with the link, when you click on it you receive an "oops" message, that the pattern is no longer available."
"Not sure why you would leave your comment on an entirely different pattern but anyway, the pattern actually specifies and gives step by step instructions on what the chain 5 is- (Bring st back to left-hand needle. K1) 5 times Chain 5 made. Bring st back to left-hand needle. K4tog. Rep from to last 2 (3-1) st(s). Chain 5. Bring st back to left-hand needle. K3 (4-2) tog. Fasten off."

I love baby patterns! These booties look so cute! And the pattern is very easy to understand! I can't wait to try my hand at them! These would be the perfect gift for a new or expectant mother! I have never tried to knit baby booties, but this really would be the best pattern to start with!

EEP! I can't even stand how adorable these booties are! I tripped across this pattern while looking for some quick knit baby shower gifts. Boy am I glad I did! I just love how delicate they are. I feel like any Mum would be thrilled to get these as a gift. I also like that they use so little yarn, it would be a great stash-buster project! I think I will be making these up in several different colours. They are absolutely stunning. The only think that would make the pattern better is if there was a more descriptive note on how to seem them up.

I knitted a bootie with 38 stitches. But when I try to join the side of the top of the T to the lower end (the toes), it is wider. Can you provide the T shape in iinches? I think the number of rows at the wider part of the T must match the stitches in the narrow end. Only then can I stitch the two at the toes.

Super simple baby booties to make up in a rainbow of colors. Sewing them together is a bit fiddly, but once you've made one pair it will be easy to make more. I love the little owl button you added hparsons1964 44611 11 and think that there could be a lot of simple dress up ideas for the booties such as your button, a pretty bow or a sew on patch.

Can somebody please explain how to sew them up?

I must be brain dead. I cannot figure out how to sew the bootie together. A video would help tremendously because I'd like to make a bunch of these for friends.

I feel the same way. I mean the knitting part was simple enough, but the instructions weren't that easy to finish. My attempt was a massive failure.

You will fold up the T-the top of the T becomes the back of the bootie, sew down the sides and across the toe just as the pattern explains. I suggest folding it over and pinning it to ensure that when you sew it, it will look right.
