How to Increase Stitches: M1 (Make 1) Stitch

By:

Learn how to increase stitches using the M1 (Make One) Stitch Method. Make One allows you to create a knit stitch in between two stitches from the previous row without adding any holes to your knitted garment.  This increase can be challenging to master at first, but once you do you'll wonder how you ever knitted without it.

Great video tutorial. Easy to follow along. How about M1L & M1R? Will you add another video showing how the instructions will differ for those? Thanks for all the great instructional tutorials & free patterns!!

@jjewett7 3068180: I'm sorry to hear you are unable to watch this video. It seems to be working properly. It might take a few minutes to load depending on your Internet connection, so we suggest waiting about 10 minutes to load before playing the video. Hope this helps! -- Editor of AllFreeKnitting

I am new to your site, first I really want to thank you for your site.I have been lost for a while trying to learn to knit. I really would like to watch the videos but unfortunately I am unable to do so. I hope this is fixed soon. Because I really cant get it at this time.

I'm quite upset. I commented yesterday about this problem but it's still happening. NONE of the video tutorials are working... I don't understand why. I come here from my email newsletter but now I still have to log in anyway. I used to be automatically logged in when I clicked a link from the newsletter. Why has that changed? I really look forward to the video tutorials rather than having to read them. I hope this is fixed soon... Thank you for your valuable time & assistance, Edna
