The first thing you notice about this set, which is part of the Options family of interchangeable needles, is that the colors are lovely. A compact, clear plastic pouch has pockets for each set of tips, and there are two pockets on the back of the pouch that can hold the cables and accessories, making this an ideal set to travel with. Everything stays together in one place.

This versatile set contains a pair of tips in each size from US 4 to US 11. Two 24 inch and two 36 inch cables, as well as cable keys and end caps, are also included.  You can expand upon this set with additional tips and needles that are available.

Needle joins are smooth and the cables are easily attached by twisting the tips onto the cable ends. Two cable keys are included for tightening the tips if necessary, but there are no instructions regarding that, which could leave a knitter new to interchangeable needles quite confused. This set also contains 8 end caps which is more than enough.

The needle points are sharp and feel solid and well made. The tips are each marked with the size preventing any confusion should you not put them back in the correct pocket. The metal joins are all smooth and polished, so nothing should snag. The cables may seem slightly stiff straight out of the package, but quickly loosen up as you use them. Yarn moved smoothly over the needles and did not catch on the joins.

The only down side I can see to these is that there is no option for a 16 inch cable for those who like to make smaller projects, such as hats, in the round. That is understandable, since the tips are 4 3/4 inches in length, making it impossible to accommodate a shorter cable.

Overall, this is a great starter kit for any knitter and a wonderful way to have a wide variety of needle sizes at your disposal.

I don't have any one needle I like best. However, I do nearly all my knitting with circulars. I love the flexibility!

Those are beautiful colours, what a great idea, I need to have those!

What an awesome giveaway!!

I love interchangeable needle sets and tips. They are easy to use and take less room to store. And these are gorgeous. I would have to purchase the larger tips, but that's doable.

I love Knit Picks Wooden Needles! I have been lusting after these because Blue is my absolute favorite color.

My favorite go to needles are bamboo size 10, 16" round.

I'm fairly new to knitting, but already I've figured out I prefer wooden needles to metal or plastic. I like my circular needles too! Now I'm looking forward to trying interchangeable a like these...I've been eyeing these for a while now!

I haven't knit enough to have a favorite but would love to have an interchangeable set so I'll be more likely to have the size I need when I find a project I want to try.

I enjoy using interchangeable needles. I use short cables when I do hats. Thanks for the giveaway!

End caps are great for those of us who . . . well . . . have more than, say, 7? projects going at once. Not that I ever do . . .

I love the idea of interchangeable needles! Never will you be without the right size for your project!

Beautiful and functional! Love it.

i would love to try the interchangeable needles. i just have a few needles right now and i hate wanting to start a new project but don't have the right needles with me at the moment. this would be very convenient.

I have two sets of these circulars in size 9 and 11, and I LOVE them! They are so smooth and easy to work with! )

I love using wood knitting kneedles...they don't make my fingers/hand cold while using and they look pretty!

I have a pair of size 8 straight needles that seem to be perfect for red heart yarn projects. I have not used circular needles but would love to learn how to use them. Seems like everyone is using them so I wonder.

I recently have begun to learn to knit and purchased a couple sets of these needles. They feel really good in my hands and the bonus is how pretty they are. When I first saw them I knew I needed a set just because they are so pretty!

I have a set of double pointed needles in Rainbow wood, and I love the feel of them in my hand, with just the right sharpness and excellent quality. I have been wanting a set of the circulars for a long time and can't wait to start lots of projects! )

While I have some individual favorites for specific kinds of work, overall, a quality-made set of interchangeable circulars are my go-to tool for almost everything. The Caspian set is beautiful and practical.

How can a person truly pick one set of knitting needles? I love using both the circular needles and the straight ones. They are both have so many different uses for so many different things.

They truly are lovely looking I've been drooling over them for a while. I'd love to own them, I love the kp interchangeable options set I received for Christmas but I'd love to get my hands on some wooden ones.

I had a set of interchangeable needles but since I stopped knitting I gave them to a friend. I started knitting again and I find myself needing a set. This set look BEAUTIFUL!!!

I have always preferred circular needles for all my knitting, but I haven't tried any interchangeables because there are so many types to choose from and I didn't know which to try. I love the colors of the Caspian, and would be thrilled to have them as my first set!

I just got my first pair of Knit Picks Caspian interchangeables, and I LOVE them! They are so smooth, and the screw-on connections work great. Plus, how can you go wrong with such great colours?! They are defs my go-to needles now!

I had sealed up and put away all other needles for a long time. I use KP needles for all projects. I love them!

These are almost the only needles I use and I use the regular circulars for fine yarns, both for in the round and flat knitting. Just bought some wooden points for my interchangeables to experiment. Bought a set for my daughter too.

I love Knit Picks circular needles!

I do pretty much all of my knitting on KnitPicks circulars.

Love the circulars! These are beautiful, what are they made of?

I love my Knit Picks interchangeables. I use them all the time. They are my go to needles for most projects. Wish they came in size 1 for socks.

I would have to say I love them all!

Oh Wow! These look so cool! I can just imagine myself knitting away with these awesome knitting circular needles . I would so love using these. I can't imagine life without knitting!

I have inherited odds and ends to knit with. Would love to have this set.

I bought myself a needle set about 15 years but a few have broken ends so they are missing from the set. Friends who have stop knitting for various reasons have given me their needles over the years, so my collection of needles is 3 of one size and 2 of other and 0 of the one I need. LOL!

Would love a set of these. My mother gave me a set 20 years ago. Still have them but I am missing a few pieces

These needles are beautiful, and now that I have seen the review and the comment that the needle points are "solid and well-made", they are officially on my wish list!

I am a devoted Knitpicks enthusiast. The Harmony needles are my favs. SO it would really be nice to own a whole set of Harmony circulars!

You know, everyone on our knitting help site was just raving about how great these needles are... I just got a box of Knit Picks yarn I bought last week in the mail (never having used their yarns before) and WOW was I impressed! Their yarn is magnificent. I cannot even describe the "tones" of their colors!!!! I would love to win these needles, if they are as fabulous as their yarn, well.... I am currently knitting one of Knit Picks patterns called "yarnster" and I will tell you that I will never make any other slouchy hat than this one. The pattern is SO easy and concise - but it looks so complex - fabulous company. I highly recommend all of their products and services.

I have knit picks harmonys and would love the caspians! I am currently woorking on The Hitchhiker shawlette.

I hope this isn't a duplicate comment, please forgive me if it is. As a beginner I don't yet have a "go to" needle but would love to have this set and expand my very limited collection. I have enjoyed the projects I've completed so far (blanket, hat, and scarf). Thanks.

circulars are my favorite

I often reach for bamboo circs first but I do like Knitpicks wooden tips for lace work.

Love the colors of this set! Thanks for the opportunity to win! I'm a beginner, and would like to knit a baby blanket for next winter if I won.

My favorite brand of needles are the Knitpicks Needles. How they are made, is great, and they offer excellent customer service when you have a problem. Thanks for the chance to win a set of these needles!

I lost my interchangeable set when a young boy burned my home to the ground and I lost everything! I've replaced a few needles so I can knit again but it would be great to have a whole set! Thanks for the chance.

My first set of interchangeable needles weren't knit picks. They were pricey and, frankly, I absolutely hated them. I decided to give interchangeables another try years later but this time chose the knit pick needles. What a huge difference!! I LOVE these! There's just no comparison to how smoothly they knit and how nice the join is.

I recently started using interchangeable needles to create cowls and baby blankets and I'm converted. These are a brilliant invention and I'd love to win a complete Caspian circular set to add to my limited collection I now have. Thanks for the opportunity.

I owned the original knit picks interchangeable needles, but with moving from place to place, so much was either lost or left behind. I would love to win a new set of these. I believe I have been drooling over these for years.

I would love to try to win this set! I don't have an interchangeable set.... I asked
