I would like to make these, but do not want design, would rather have them plain. It seems that I should be able to figure this out myself, but I am afraid I will mess up stitch count, as reading directions (w/initials ) sounds complicated. Do u perchance have a pattern that is plain. Thanks . Glenna How can I choose a rating w/o making them. rated just on 'likeing' them would be a 5.

couldn't you just put the palm stitches on holders rather than knitting the 2 rows with scrap yarn and then having to cut them out??
