I'm concerned about giving this to the new mother down the street because there might be a strangling issue. Please tell me I'm being overly sensitive. I would have used this on my children and would love to make something like this for my neighbor, but don't want her to think I'm insensitive to the dangers. What do y'all think?

I'm having trouble with this simple patter at the end with the decrease rows. It only says to K2 together once per row and yet it shows 2 stitches decreased. Is there a typo or am I slow? Thanks.
