FRONT
**With D and larger needles, cast on 111 (121-131-141-161-175) sts. Break D. Join MC.
1st row: (RS). With MC, K1. *P1. K1. Rep from * to end of row.
2nd row: P1. *K1. P1. Rep from * to end of row.
Rep last 2 rows of (K1. P1) ribbing for 3” [7.5 cm], ending on a 2nd row.**
Proceed in stocking st until work from beg measures 11” [28 cm], ending on a purl row.
Place Chart: 1st row: (RS). With MC, K20 (25-30-35-45-55). Knit 1st row of Chart I, reading row from right to left. With MC, K20 (25-30-35-45-55).
2nd row: With MC, P20 (25-30-35-45-55). Purl 2nd row of Chart I, reading row from left to right. With MC, P20 (25-30-35-45-55).

Chart I - In Bloom Knit Pullover

With MC, cont even until work from beg measures 25” [63.5 cm], ending on a purl row.

Shape neck: 1st row: (RS). K46 (50-53-57-66-72). Turn. Leave rem sts on a st holder.
Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 4 rows, then every following alt row 4 times more. 38 (42-45-49-58-64) sts rem.

Cont even until work from beg measures 27½ (27½-27½-28-28-28½) ” [70 (70-70-71-71-72.5) cm], ending on a purl row.

Shape shoulder: Cast off 9 (10-11-12-14-16) sts beg of next and every following alt row twice more. Purl 1 row even. Cast off rem 11 (12-12-13-16-16) sts.

With RS facing, slip next 19 (21-25-27-29-31) sts onto a st holder. Join MC to rem sts and knit to end of row.

Dec 1 st at neck edge on next 4 rows, then every following alt row 4 times more. 38 (42-45-49-58-64) sts rem.

Cont even until work from beg measures 27½ (27½-27½-28-28-28½) ” [70 (70-70-71-71-72.5) cm, ending on a knit row.

Shape shoulder: Cast off 9 (10-11-12-14-16) sts beg of next and every following alt row twice more. Knit 1 row even. Cast off rem 11 (12-12-13-16-16) sts.

BACK
Work from ** to ** as given for Front. With MC, proceed in stocking st until work from beg measures same length as Front to beg of shoulder shaping, ending on a purl row.

Shape shoulders and back: 1st row: (RS). Cast off 9 (10-11-12-14-16) sts. K28 (31-33-36-43-47). K2tog. K2. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.
2nd row: P2. P2tog. Purl to end of row.
3rd row: Cast off 9 (10-11-12-14-16) sts. Knit to last 4 sts. K2tog. K2.
4th row: Purl.
5th row: Cast off 9 (10-11-12-14-16) sts. Knit to end of row.
6th row: Purl.
Cast off rem 11 (12-12-13-16-16) sts.

With RS facing, slip next 29 (31-35-37-39-41) sts onto a st holder.

Change to larger needles and proceed in stocking st, inc 1 st each end of needle on next and every following 6th (4th-4th-2nd-2nd-2nd) row until there are 63 (63-63-63-69-91) sts, then every following 8th (6th-6th-4th-4th-4th) row until there are 69 (75-79-91-99-111) sts.

Cont even until work from beg measures 16 (16-17-17-13-12½) ” [40.5 (40.5-43-43-33-32) cm], ending on a purl row.

Shape top: Cast off 7 (8-9-10-11-12) sts beg next 6 rows. Cast off rem 27 (27-25-31-33-39) sts.

FINISHING
Pin garment pieces to measurements and cover with damp cloth leaving cloth to dry.

Chart II - In Bloom Knit Pullover

Work duplicate st embroidery of Chart III at center Back, having top row of chart 5 rows below neck edge and center both sides evenly.

Chart III - In Bloom Knit Pullover

Collar: Sew right shoulder seam. With MC and smaller needles, pick up and knit 15 sts down left front neck edge. K19 (21-25-27-29-31) from front st holder. Pick up and knit 15 sts up right front neck edge, 3 sts down right back neck edge. K29 (31-35-37-39-41) across back st holder, dec 1 st at center. Pick up and knit 3 sts up left back neck edge. 83 (87-95-99-103-107) sts. Work 7 rows in (K1. P1) ribbing as given for Front. Cast off in ribbing.

Sew left shoulder and neckband seam. Place markers on Front and Back 7½ (8-8½-9½-10½-11½) ” [19 (20.5-21.5-24-26.5-29) cm] down from shoulders. Sew in Sleeves between markers. Sew side and sleeve seams.
