These slippers are made from wool yarn and then felted. Although it is a relatively easy pattern, it is not for beginner knitters, since you will need to know how to knit on double pointed needles, and how to felt things in hot water (or the washing machine). A fun project, though, for more experienced knitters.

Make this, I would like to but cant access the pattern. Any ideas?

The pattern is there when you click on the "Click here for knitting pattern" link. It's within the text so it's a little hard to read and you have to read all the text to find it, but it's there. It's a fairly simple pattern but needs to be separated from the rest of the text to better see it.

These felted slippers look great, but I have never felted before,so i'm wondering after they are washed in hot soapy water and shaped do they go dryed in the dryer??

This pattern is no longer free when following the link provided; one can purchase it only.

umm yes it is free. Click on the link It goes right to the pattern. It is free

Any guesstimate of how much fleece you need to make a pair?

Hi, rngray5040 3707206. I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble accessing the pattern. To view the pattern, please click the link that says, "click here for knitting pattern." A new browser window should open with the pattern in full on the pattern designer's website. If you are having trouble printing the pattern, I would recommend copying and pasting the pattern into a Word document and printing that way. I hope this helps! --Editor of AllFreeKnitting
