Knit slipper patterns are excellent ways to dwindle down your yarn stash, but did you know that they're also great to use in a time crunch? So if you have chilly feet and only a couple of hours to spare, let me introduce you to these Last Minute Slippers. Knit in the garter stitch and complete with criss-cross straps, these stretchy slippers are perfect companions to a cold winter evening.

I read the designers notes that she has posted in the description of these slippers. If you plan on making a pair of these, make sure to read those notes on sizing as that will affect the outcome of your slippers. There is a picture of the slippers both on feet and off of feet. The designer states that they look better on.

I like the look of the slippers but as mentioned in a prior comment, I have a few questions as well. I will have to ask. the designer. The blog is a few years old but I will try. In the meantime, I do like to make slippers. They fit your feet better and really can save you some money.

What does "unzip" mean? As in "knit 23, unzip provisional cast on , knit across 24, etc. ?

Hi jackiedarstein 2652510, We suggest asking the designer for further assistance with this pattern. You can leave her a message by using the contact form on her blog. Hope this helps! -Editors of AllFreeKnitting

So far, so good, but I'm wondering what the purpose of that first purl row once you've unzipped the provisional cast on stitches is. Wouldn't it leave a weird bump? Thank you!!

Oh dear, the broken link persists. Is there another way around this problem?

i would love this pattern - but nothing comes up - i have tried several times - makes me sad ;(

cmurrayjones 1710058, Thank you for letting us know about the broken link. We've updated the project, so you should be able to access it now without a problem. Thank you again, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

I finally find a knit slipper pattern I think I can do, and the link is broken (or something). Does anyone have this pattern?

I know I get the same message and this is not the first time it has happened. They need to get the problem fixed. I have already started my Christmas presents and saw this was going to start some tonight. :(

The exact message I'm getting is "The webpage cannot be found".

The same thing has happened to me also .... just get a blank page. I wonder if these comments are looked at and is there a way to contact someone to fix this?

I get a blank page too. If anyone can get the pattern please pass it on.

I am getting a blank page when I click on knitting pattern.

This is ridiculous. They need to fix the pattern page,

I was unable to get this pattern either. I am very disappointed. I'd appreciare it if anyone was successful.

I can't get the pattern either. I am tired of trying.

getting ticked off.. every time i try to get a pattern like this it takes me to a blog site with absolutely blank pages....other pages just have stuff about family and farm.... if anyone managed to get this pattern please contact me.
