I am trying my hand at knitting socks and thought this would be a good pattern to start with. However, I believe there may be some errors in the pattern in the heel area. I really want to finish it, but as stated in the pattern, it doesn't work.

To make socks to fit YOUR foot, using the yarn of your choice, and easy to follow, try locating a copy of "The Knitters Handy Book of Patterns" by Ann Budd. Included are basic socks, mittens, and more. Easy to follow, basic sock.
