I love infinity scarves and I love fun and fast knitting projects. I travel a lot and one skein projects are perfect for travel. The project is easy to pack and work on while on the plane or in the car. And I have a scarf to wear when I am done! The yarn is bright and colorful, which makes the whole thing more fun. I can pair it with black slacks and a simple top.

I absolutely have to make this one. I even have yarn with the color name of Petunia. It looks exactly like this. The pattern looks easy and it only takes one skein so how can I go wrong? I have started adding embellishments to my creations now too. Sew on rhinestones and buttons can really add a new de mention to them.

Nataliegrace, for one-skein projects like this I sometimes splurge on a really fabulous yarn, such as hand dyed, organic or rare yarns such as alpaca or vicuna. That lets me indulge in all the beautiful yarns available today without going broke. And it's something different than basic yarn that feels different when you work with it, so it's interesting.

I love that this scarf only requires one skein, since yarn can sometimes be expensive! I just learned to knit, so this sounds like the perfect project for me.
