This scarf knitting pattern is called the Anyway Cabled Scarf because you can wear it any way you please! Both sides of the scarf are cabled, so you're see to see the beautiful cables at any angle. This scarf also looks great on men, who prefer a simpler design to their knit scarf patterns. This makes a lovely holiday or birthday gift because the cabling design is suited to people of any tastes. Wear it any way you want, and gift it any way you want. Lion Brand has discontinued the original yarn recommended. They suggest using their Superwash Merino Cashmere in its place. We also recommend Lion Brand Wool-Ease as an affordable subsitute.

I had no problem creating a free account and getting access to a whole bunch of stuff, including this pattern. I am anxious to give it a try since I'm always experimenting with stitches to see what the "reverse" side will look like and how I can improve on it. This pattern sounds like somebody did the work for me. :) Happy day!

I agree, I am not gonna "sign in" to Lion's site , I expected this to be a pattern I could find through Knit Picks.
